 Lithia Springs works diligently each year to maintain its reputation of academic excellence. Our daily focus is on student achievement where students are consistently challenged and encouraged to excel. Teachers and staff members continually seek ways to provide meaningful experiences for all students. The faculty has set high expectations for academic excellence. Our test scores indicate we are a high performing school. We continue to meet the criteria to receive an “A” from Florida’s A+ plan. We are proud of our students’ achievement.
The faculty and staff of any school play a critical role in the life of that school. Lithia Springs is very fortunate to have staff members that excel at their profession. All Lithia Springs staff are passionate in their teaching of students and persistent that students learn. They spend numerous hours planning and preparing lessons. They meet often with grade level teams or other school professionals to ensure that they meet the needs of students. All staff members constantly seek ways to increase their knowledge base and skills and to assist their students. Many attend workshops and books studies on a regular basis. There are currently 3 teachers who have met the criteria for National Board Certification with additional teachers beginning the process or waiting on results of
their efforts.
Lithia Springs is proud of its very active and supportive PTA. Our PTA works diligently to provide support and assistance to every child in order to enrich their school experience. Parents volunteer in classrooms, tutor students, provide learning and enjoyable experiences, and participate in school events. Because of the combined efforts of LSES and our PTA, we proudly announce our recognition as a Five Star School and as a Golden School, based on the number of volunteer hours spent supporting our school.
